issues on strict networks & small renovations

this article was transferred from blog.elaboraet.net.

there seems to be an issue accessing this website from strict-nat or otherwise strictly firewalled networks where the page is completely blocked from loading at all in the user's browser. if not blocked, the browser reports a QUIC_PROTOCOL (http3) error. i suspect my SSL setup is the issue, since my other websites appear to function fine under the same conditions. i didn't imagine that this relatively common setup could be causing problems, though.

regardless: i've made a few renovations to the site's template CSS once again. the page backgrounds are now exhibit a light blueish tone, and elements that require dark grays i've also shifted to have a subtle blue tone.

i have also created a guestbook page! (which, really, is just a normal page with a discussion box element contained within it.) each “comment” requires my approval to become visible, similar to the discussions under each post.

another final thing you may notice is the inclusion of icons next to some important links, such as the sidebar's “listening to” song title having an audio icon next to it linking that song's youtube page. you will also see an icon next to the guestbook mention on the homepage.
