fresh air?

you can probably see that i finally got around to giving this site the refresh it deserved. fixed broken links, tidied the syntax, renamed "posts" to something nicer, and, obviously, rewrote the layout.

i was listening to 9:25 by Global Communication when, suddenly, images of this layout emerged in my mind. i immediately took out a piece of paper - some ancient thing of notes - flipped it over, and found a pen:

the layout would have a vertical "header," perhaps containing a floral design, picture of some tree, or anything else. maybe even a custom graphic later on. the page would have two columns, the header smaller of course. the design would retain the sharp corners of the previous iteration. then a faint, light or beige wash over the entire page to fit the imagined header picture that appeared in my head.

and, finally: the page, without moving at all, would display the content.

and the draft was complete.
