some updates

hello there. this site is not dead! just been busy with other things. i'm also thinking of a possible revamped layout so that it's possible for me to have a stream of posts rather than discrete pages for each one. this would make it easier for me to update the website and also eliminate the pressure to needlessly expand an otherwise short thought just to have it make sense existing as its own entire page.
